Scuba Diver Certification Course

This is a scuba diver certification course listed under Isla Mujeres, on the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo. Unlike an introductory try-dive, you finish the experience with a Scuba Diver certification through PADI, so it is a step beyond simply trying the sport once.

The course is positioned as a middle route for people who want to become certified divers but would rather save the time and money that the full PADI Open Water certification requires. It is an activity-type tour, and the listed duration is 2,880 minutes, which is 48 hours in total.

The listing does not detail the day-by-day schedule, the dive sites or the exact content of each session, so it is worth asking the operator for the plan before you book if you need to organise your days around it.

The course suits travelers who are serious about earning a certification and who are comfortable with a moderate level of physical fitness. It is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or for pregnant travelers, so check these points honestly before reserving.

On the practical side, the price covers the use of all the scuba equipment, all fees and taxes, and snacks, so you do not need to bring or rent gear separately. The listing does not name any exclusions. Public transportation options are available nearby, and no fixed meeting point is given, so confirm where to arrive when you reserve.
