Amazing Combo Horseback & ATV Adventure with Pirate Show and Dinner
The experience
Set in a jungle park near Puerto Morelos, this outing strings together horseback riding, ATV driving, ziplining, and a cenote swim in the morning, then swaps the jungle for the sea with an evening pirate-themed dinner show aboard a galleon. It's built as two separate pickups on the same day, so guests get a break at their hotel between the land adventure and the nighttime spectacle.
Transportation arrives in sanitized vans and takes the group into the jungle park, where the horseback portion opens the day; riders spend roughly 45 minutes in the saddle across scenic trail sections, with horses described as well cared for. From there, guests move to the ATVs for another 45-minute stretch, driving solo or two-up along a route designed with obstacles, before heading to the ziplines to cover the same stretch of jungle from above for about 45 minutes. The land activities wrap with a swim at a natural cenote or sinkhole for around 30 minutes, followed by a regional lunch and a chance to rinse off before the ride back to the hotel.
After a rest period, a second pickup collects guests for the evening half of the day: a pirate show staged on a galleon in the Caribbean Sea, with sword fights, rope work, and cannon effects performed by the cast as part of a mock naval battle. Dinner is served buffet-style aboard the ship, with a separate children's menu available, and a national open bar runs for the dinner show specifically, pouring for roughly three and a half hours before the boat returns to the marina and guests are shuttled back to their hotel.
The combination format suits travelers who want an entire day mapped out for them, mixing physically active jungle activities with a lower-key, entertainment-driven evening. Riders and ATV drivers should note the tour's stated weight limits of 220 pounds for horseback riding and 300 pounds for ATVs, and the trip calls for at least a moderate level of physical fitness rather than being open to all fitness levels. It's a fit for groups or couples looking for one booking that covers both adventure sport and a dinner show, rather than piecing together two separate excursions.
For the daytime activities, closed-toe shoes are recommended along with sunscreen and insect repellent in biodegradable form, plus sunglasses and a bandana for the dusty ATV route. Cell phone use isn't permitted during the activities for safety reasons, so plan to leave photography to the park's own arrangements or capture it before and after each activity. Purified water is provided rather than bottled water throughout the day.
Pickup timing differs by hotel zone: guests staying in Cancun are collected between 7:30 and 8:45 am, while those in Riviera Maya hotels are picked up between 7:30 and 9:30 am, and anyone whose hotel isn't on the standard list is asked to note it in the special requirements field so a representative can confirm the exact meeting point and time by email or text. The evening pickup for the dinner and pirate show runs from around 6:00 pm, with exact timing again varying by hotel and confirmed directly with guests.
Included in the package are round-trip transportation for both the daytime and evening activities, the horseback riding, ATV driving, and ziplining segments, the cenote swim, a regional lunch, the pirate show itself, the gourmet dinner aboard the galleon, and the open bar during the dinner show. Gratuities and the federal port tax and dock fee are not included, so those should be budgeted for separately.
