Paragliding flight in Valle de Bravo

This tandem paragliding flight takes off from the mountains above Valle de Bravo, a lakeside Pueblo Mágico in the State of Mexico. From the air, you get a view of the town's rooftops, its lake, and the forested peaks that surround it — a perspective that's hard to get any other way.

Valle de Bravo sits around a reservoir lake, and the town itself is known for its colonial-style architecture and cobbled streets. Seeing that layout from above, with the lake stretching out below and the mountains rising around the valley, is the main draw of this flight.

You fly tandem with a specialized pilot, who controls the wing throughout the flight and stays attentive to how you're doing in the air. Because the pilot handles the flying, no previous paragliding experience is required — you're there to take in the view.

The activity is described as suitable for all physical fitness levels. It is not recommended, however, for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnant travelers, or people with poor cardiovascular health, given the physical nature of the takeoff and landing.

The package covers your ticket into Monte Alto Park, where the flight departs from, transportation to the takeoff area, and photos and video of your flight to take home. Transportation to the launch point is wheelchair accessible, and public transportation options are also available nearby. The whole activity runs about 90 minutes.
