Private Rappelling Experience in Valle de Bravo

This private rappelling experience takes you down a 70-meter rock face in the mountains above Valle de Bravo. It's a vertical descent activity, done with guides rather than as a self-guided climb.

Before you descend, guides give you a practical class covering what you'll be doing and how to use the equipment, so no previous rappelling experience is needed. They walk you through each step and stay with you through the descent.

The full kit is provided: harness, helmet, carabiners, anchor ropes, descent ropes, and descent eights, along with personal accident insurance. You don't need to bring your own gear.

Given the physical demands of a vertical rock descent, travelers should have at least a moderate level of fitness. It's not recommended for people with spinal injuries, pregnant travelers, or those with poor cardiovascular health.

Public transportation options are available near the activity site. The experience, including the class and the descent, runs about 165 minutes.
