Set within the Reserva de la Biósfera Calakmul along the Caribbean Sea, this informal beachfront ecolodge featuring reclaimed wood, wind generators and solar panels is 6 km from the Parque Nacional de Tulum ancient Mayan ruins. It's 122 km from the Cancun International Airport. The rustic cottages all have ceiling fans, and terraces with hammocks; there are no TVs. Some offer ocean or garden views, loft areas and/or are beachfront. Complimentary breakfast is delivered daily. There's a private area on a white sand beach. Boogie board rentals are offered.
