Bioluminescence Tour in Punta Cocos Holbox

This is a night tour to see bioluminescence on Holbox, done on land rather than on the water. In this phenomenon, hundreds of living microorganisms, plankton, light up when they hit the waves along the shore. The operator says the light is often bright enough that even fish can be seen in the water, and compares the organisms to fireflies that emit their own blue light.
