Holbox 3 Island Group Tour

This is a short, relaxed boat tour around Isla Holbox that links three stops: Punta Mosquito, Passion Island and Isla Pájaros. It is a group tour, aimed at travelers who want to see the waters and birdlife around the island without a long or demanding outing.

The first stop is Punta Mosquito, described as one of the most beautiful beaches on Holbox Island. Its crystal-clear water and white sand bank form the landscape, and a local bird population gathers on a large sandbank that is visible most of the year. The stop lasts about 20 minutes.

Next comes Passion Island, known for its multicolored scenery and as the home of many birds. You can watch different species as they feed and breed, and for much of the year you can see pink flamingos in the shallow, colorful water. This stop also lasts about 20 minutes.

The third stop is Isla Pájaros. Depending on the season, this island becomes a sanctuary for more than 35 different bird species, which makes it a good place for anyone who enjoys birdwatching. Again, expect about 20 minutes.

Weather decides the exact route. The activity provider may change the itinerary and visit Punta Cocos instead of Punta Mosquito, or Isla Pájaros in its place, depending on conditions.

The tour is suitable for all physical fitness levels, but it is not recommended for pregnant travelers, travelers with spinal injuries or those with poor cardiovascular health. Bottled water and licensed tour staff are included. A taxi to the meeting point is not, so plan how you will get there.
