Beach and Desert Premium X3 UTV Tour in Cabo

This is a guided off-road tour out of Cabo San Lucas, in Baja California Sur, driven in a Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbocharged. The operator describes this side-by-side (UTV) as going from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4.5 seconds, thanks to a 172 hp engine. The activity lasts 240 minutes in total and heads for Migriño Beach on the Pacific coast, with desert trails along the way.

The crew say they have years of experience with side-by-side vehicles and Baja off-road racing, including two national championships in class 29 and an entry every year in the Baja 1000. The routes come from more than 15 years of exploring the Baja by ATV and side-by-side. The operator stresses that you do not need to be a professional driver: the trails are meant to be easygoing but still lively, and the tour advertises more driving miles than other tours.

Around 180 minutes of the outing are spent driving over different kinds of terrain. The goal is Migriño Beach, described as a stretch of golden sand that runs for kilometers along the Pacific, backed by large dunes. It can be visited all year, and in winter humpback whales can be seen from any point on the beach, according to the operator. The beach is also known for its sunsets over the ocean. The tour ends with a tequila tasting.

The tour is listed as suitable for all physical fitness levels. The minimum age to drive is 16, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. A kids club with a nanny service is included for children from 6 months to 11 years who are not taking part, available on request. For safety, the activity is not permitted for pregnant travelers, people with back problems, anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or people who have recently had surgery.

The vehicle has its own limits: your seat belt must fit, the maximum weight is 125 kg (275 lb), and participants must be at least 1.10 m (43.3 in) tall.
