Cabo Turtle Release

This is a sea turtle release experience in the Cabo San Lucas area, lasting about 180 minutes. The listing frames it as a wildlife activity that combines conservation and education rather than a typical sightseeing tour: you take part in an authorized sea turtle release program.

You learn from an experienced marine biologist about the life cycle, behavior and conservation of sea turtles. The release takes place against the backdrop of a Pacific sunset, when hatchlings begin their journey to the ocean under the guidance of trained conservation staff.

The experience is described as suitable for all ages and family-friendly, and it is also open to travelers of all physical fitness levels. Specialized infant seats are available. It is not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. The organizers present it as a way to support the protection of one of Baja California Sur's most iconic marine species.

Water, soft drinks and snacks are included, along with transportation from the meeting point to the activity location. Hotel pickup is not included, so you will need to make your own way to the meeting point. The listing does not state where that is, so ask the operator for the meeting point and time when you book.

Plan for a sunset activity outdoors on the coast: bring what you normally need for an evening by the sea, and keep in mind that this is a conservation program in which the staff guide each step of the release.
