All-in-one PV Experience: Suspension bridge, Quads, Buggies, Ziplines and Mules
The experience
This all-in-one adventure in Puerto Vallarta combines several activities in a single outing of about 345 minutes. The operator describes it as the only activity in the city that puts these experiences together: a visit to the Jorullo Bridge, which it presents as the longest suspension bridge in America, ATVs or buggies, zip lines, a mule ride and an optional tequila tasting.
The included activities are a visit to the Jorullo Bridge, a mule ride, a visit to the El Salto waterfall and 11 zip lines. You choose between quads and buggies for the off-road section. If you want individual quads, the operator says you must make separate reservations, one traveler at a time; choosing 2, 3 or 4 travelers will not show the individual quad option.
The outing is physically demanding. The operator states that it requires good physical condition, and that the zip lines involve hikes with steps between platforms. Sports shoes are recommended, both to change gears on the quad and for the walks to the zip lines. It is recommended for people between 6 and 65 years old, and the experience takes place rain or shine.
Several rules apply. The minimum age to drive is 18 with a driver's license, and passengers must be at least 6. No guests under the influence of alcohol or any other drug are allowed. Weight limits are listed: 160 kg for a quad with one guest, 220 kg with two, 226 kg for a buggy with two guests, 362 kg with four, and 250 pounds per person on the zip lines. At check-in you will be asked for a driver's license and a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover) for each driver, plus a non-refundable collision insurance charge of 10 USD per quad or 20 USD per buggy, covering up to 500 USD in damage to the unit.
Round-trip transportation from the operator's office, the meeting point, is included, but transport from your hotel to that point is not. Food, drinks, gratuities and entrance fees are also excluded. Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, shorts and extra cash for food, drinks, photos and tips. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health.
