ATV and RZR Glass Platform Experience in Puerto Vallarta

The Glass Platform is presented as one of the best-known attractions of Puerto Vallarta and the Bay of Banderas: a transparent lookout with views of the Sierra Madre mountains. This tour gets you there by off-road vehicle, and you can choose between an ATV for one guest, an ATV for two, a RZR for two or a RZR for up to four. The itinerary lists a duration of 330 minutes.

The experience starts with a ride in the operator’s transportation from the meeting point to the mountain facility. Along the way you see the countryside around Puerto Vallarta and its mountains covered in tropical vegetation, places that normal excursions generally do not cover. At the facilities in the jungle you switch to your ATV or RZR.

From there you ride dirt roads to the El Salto waterfall, where you can cool off, and then continue to the Glass Platform at Jorullo Point, described as the main attraction. Stepping onto the platform gives you a view of the Sierra Madre Occidental, and the itinerary lists about 20 minutes for this stop. The package also includes an optional tequila tasting.

Pricing works per vehicle, so the booking method matters. Book one vehicle at a time in separate bookings, whatever the size of your group. For example, six single-rider ATVs mean six bookings with one traveler each, while one RZR for two guests is a single booking for two travelers. If you select two, three or four travelers, the individual ATV option will not appear.
