City and Tropical Tour and Tequila in Puerto Vallarta

This four-hour private tour combines a walk through Puerto Vallarta's best-known places with a stop to learn how tequila is made. The operator says it covers the culture, history, folklore and nature of the city.

The tour begins in the historic center, at the main square and the centenary parish of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, with an optional quick visit to the municipal market (about 90 minutes). Next comes the Romantic Zone, known as the Heart of Vallarta and one of the areas most visited by tourists for its old-Vallarta feel (about 40 minutes).

You then stop at the Mismaloya Arches for photos of the whole bay from a natural setting (about 30 minutes). From there you move to the tropical forest to learn about the tequila-making process and take part in a tequila tasting (about 30 minutes). The tour ends downtown with time for shopping and a walk along the Puerto Vallarta boardwalk (about 50 minutes).

You are picked up in the lobby of your hotel. The air-conditioned private vehicle, bottled water and all fees and taxes are included. Snacks, alcoholic beverages, soda and coffee or tea are not.
