City Tour and Canopy Visit Nogalito Ecopark

This tour mixes a look at Puerto Vallarta with a bit of adventure: a city drive with several stops, a tequila tasting and a canopy zipline session at Nogalito Ecopark. The operator recommends it for couples or families who want culture, fun and some adrenaline in one outing.

The route starts at the main church of the city, one of the oldest in the port. Your guide explains a little of its history, and you can go inside and take photos if you wish (about 10 minutes). The next stop is one of the most visited places in Puerto Vallarta, where you can look out over the bay and see some of the sculptures, including the sea horse on the seawall, one of the most recognizable (about 30 minutes).

The vehicle then drives through the romantic area, also known as the old town, and stops at a small viewpoint with one of the best views of Banderas Bay (about 10 minutes).

The tequila stop is next. Here you can taste up to eight kinds of tequila, from tequila liqueurs and creams to pure tequila, while hearing how the producer makes it (about 30 minutes). After that comes the canopy activity, where you can use nine of the lines on offer. It takes between 40 and 50 minutes depending on group size.

On the way back you stop to photograph Los Arcos de Mismaloya, the rock formations seen in the distance (about 5 minutes).

The tour is described as moderately active. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers, for people with spinal injuries or for those with poor cardiovascular health, and travelers should have at least a moderate level of fitness. Infants can ride in a pram or stroller, specialized infant seats are available, and service animals are allowed.

Bottled water, alcoholic beverages and an air-conditioned vehicle are included. Gratuities and lunch are not. Your guide will hold a name sign so you can identify them at the meeting point.
