El Mirador Jungle ATV Tour – Ride Single

This ATV tour heads into the Sierra de Vallejo, just outside Puerto Vallarta, trading pavement, traffic, and crowds for a small-group ride with immediate access to the trails. You ride your own single ATV rather than sharing one, and the guides adjust the pace to the group, whether that's families, couples, or friends traveling together.

After a safety briefing and equipment fitting, the ride starts directly on the mountain trails — the operator notes the route is entirely off-road, without any time spent on paved streets or in traffic. The roughly 90-minute drive covers changing mountain terrain while taking in the region's scenery, flora, and fauna, with one scenic stop typically included for photos. The exact route and starting trailhead can vary depending on weather, trail conditions, and safety considerations on the day.

Plan for about three hours in total from pickup to drop-off, since the guided riding itself takes up only part of that time. The tour includes a bilingual guide, transportation at the pickup point, bottled water, and safety gear (helmet, face mask, and goggles).

A mandatory ATV Damage Protection Fee of 200 Mexican pesos per person or single ATV applies. It is non-refundable and is not included in the booking price — it's paid directly to the operator, Xtreme Jaguar, before the activity begins.

The tour requires at least a moderate level of physical fitness and isn't recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnant travelers, or those with poor cardiovascular health.
