Guaranteed Hidden Beach • Private : up to 4 pers. • Punta Mita

This is a private boat tour from Punta Mita to the Marietas Islands and their Hidden Beach, for up to four people. Punta Mita is the closest departure point to the islands. The tour is listed at about three hours, and only your group takes part, so you decide which activities to do and when to head back within that time.

The tour starts at the Punta Mita pier, where the team gives directions and you board the private boat. The crossing to the Marietas Islands takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes, depending on sea conditions.

Entry to Hidden Beach is by swimming 80 to 100 meters through a natural tunnel, always accompanied by a certified guide. You spend around 30 minutes on the beach. The guide carries your phone safely and takes pictures during the experience, and a waterproof container for phones and cameras is included.

Afterwards you snorkel in a selected area, since the operator chooses the best one available that day, using included equipment. You then visit Playa Nopalera to walk and explore caves at your own pace. On the way back you may see marine wildlife, and the tour ends in Punta Mita.

Included are the entrance to Hidden Beach, a lifejacket, the waterproof container, non-alcoholic beverages and snorkeling equipment. Food is not included. Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, a camera or phone and drinks in thermoses or reusable bottles.

There are firm rules for the protected islands. You cannot go down to the activities wearing shoes of any kind, bring bags, backpacks, suitcases, food or drinks to the beaches, throw garbage into the sea, drink alcohol during your stay on the Marietas (only on the way there and back) or fly drones, per CONANP regulations. Minimum age is 10 and maximum age is 64. It requires at least a moderate level of fitness, spaces are limited, and it is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with poor cardiovascular health, so reserve in advance.
