Immersive Experience & Tequila Tasting in Puerto Vallarta

This is an immersive tequila experience in Puerto Vallarta that tells the legend, history and craft of tequila, the most emblematic drink in Mexico. The listed duration is 90 minutes, and the whole visit takes place inside Teatro Vallarta, in an area set up especially for the experience.

It starts with a welcome cocktail prepared by a mixologist, before Mayahuel, goddess of the agave, guides you through the story. Inside, you receive special glasses that bring the artwork of the venue to life, and 3D details are used to tell the narrative.

In the next room, the history and origins of the drink are told through videos, projections and video mapping. Another room explains how tequila is made, followed by an activity where you explore its aromas and flavors.

The final stop is the tasting in the venue's own cava, which carries the distinctive T of the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT), presented as a guarantee of authenticity and quality. A tequila expert guides you through a special reserve of 100% Blue Agave tequilas, selected for this experience, and teaches you how to savor tequila like a professional. The tour ends in a souvenir shop where you can buy your own bottle.

This experience suits people who like to learn a bit of culture and history before they taste. Alcohol is served only to travelers over 18; guests under 18 are offered non-alcoholic drinks. The tour is suitable for all physical fitness levels, but there is no elevator and the route goes by stairs, so it is not recommended for people with limited mobility.
