Jungle ATV Experience at Puerto Vallarta Sierra (Couples)

This ATV tour for couples takes you off the beach and into the countryside behind Puerto Vallarta. You share one ATV between two, with one person driving and a companion riding along, and the outing lasts around 210 minutes in total, including about 15 miles (24 km) of riding.

The route starts with rides through small villages and local neighborhoods, a chance to see everyday life away from the resort areas. From there you head deep into the jungle and up into the rugged Sierra Madre, where the trail opens onto panoramic views.

After the ride you stop at Moro Paraíso, a riverside spot along the Río Cuale that the operator describes as a hidden gem. Traditional Mexican food and drinks are available there, but they are sold separately and are not part of the price. Then you climb back on the ATV for a scenic ride back to Unique, where the experience ends. The package also includes a tequila tasting.

Guides speak both English and Spanish, and safety equipment is provided. The tour is described as suitable for all fitness levels, although it is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnant travelers or people with poor cardiovascular health.

Some rules are worth knowing before you book. The minimum age to drive is 16 and drivers need a driver's license; the listing also mentions a driving permit for 16-year-olds, so confirm exactly what documents are required when you book. Passengers must be at least 7 years old. A credit or debit card is needed as a guarantee. Food and drinks are not included.
