Private City Highlight Tour with Tequila Tasting

This private tour puts a car and a dedicated guide at your disposal to show you Puerto Vallarta's most important sights. Because it's private, the pace is yours, and pickup can be arranged whether you're arriving by plane, coming off a cruise ship, or already staying somewhere in town.

The outing starts with a walk along the Malecon, Puerto Vallarta's oceanfront boardwalk, where your guide points out its landmarks and history over about half an hour. From there you'll visit one of the city's iconic attractions for a short stop, learning its background and significance.

The centerpiece is a 90-minute visit built around tequila, Mexico's best-known spirit, where you'll see how it's made and finish with a tasting to compare results for yourself.

Before the tour ends, there's time to take in a wide view over the bay, closing out a day spent getting to know both the city and its signature drink.

Because the vehicle and guide are exclusive to your group, this tour suits travelers who want a flexible, unhurried pace rather than a fixed group schedule. It's wheelchair accessible in all areas, and family-friendly: infant seats can be arranged, and small children can ride in a pram, stroller, or on an adult's lap. It's rated suitable for all physical fitness levels.

The private vehicle, driver-guide, hotel or port pickup and drop-off, all taxes and fuel surcharges, and the tequila tasting are included. Food, other drinks, and gratuities are not, though alcoholic drinks beyond the tasting can be purchased. If you're staying at a friend's house rather than a hotel, have the full address ready so a meeting point can be arranged, and if you're booking last minute, contact the office directly to confirm your pickup time.
