Private Panoramic and Cultural Tour of Puerto Vallarta

The tour begins in Pitillal, where you get a small taste of how locals live, visit the church of San Miguel Arcángel and can walk a little through the main square (20 minutes). It continues to the town center and the seawall, where you photograph the main sculptures, then walk to the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the city's main church, and can go inside (40 minutes).

Next is the municipal market, where you can find souvenirs, with a small tasting of typical sweets at a local candy shop (30 minutes). In the Romantic Zone you visit Plaza Lázaro Cárdenas, also known as the tile square, and a jewelry workshop, where a brief explanation covers how gold and silver jewelry is made and includes fire opal. Clean restrooms are available there and you are offered a welcome drink (40 minutes).

Two balconies then give views of Puerto Vallarta and the southern part of the city (15 minutes). In a small village you visit a local tequila plant, hear how tequila is made and taste between 8 and 9 kinds, from liqueurs and cream to pure tequila (30 minutes). Further stops offer distant views of the Los Arcos ecological park (10 minutes) and a balcony over Mismaloya, where The Night of the Iguana was filmed (10 minutes).

The route ends at a restaurant with a view of the city and a waterfall, where you may buy food if you wish (60 minutes).
