Puerto Vallarta Jungle Tour or RZR + Tequila

This jungle tour combines driving, nature and a taste of local culture. You drive an RZR or an ATV through the landscapes of the Sierra de Puerto Vallarta, crossing rivers, mountain roads and lush rainforest. The listing gives a duration of 210 minutes.

The package includes the vehicle (ATV or RZR), protective equipment (goggles, helmet and bandana) and a tequila tasting. Collision insurance is not included: it costs USD 20 per RZR and USD 10 per ATV, is non-refundable and is paid on arrival at the registration area.

The vehicle rules matter. Each driver's license is requested at registration. Minimum age for driving is 18 with a driver's license, and the minimum age overall is 6. Maximum weight for an ATV is 160 kg (352 lbs) with one passenger and 220 kg (484 lbs) with two. For an RZR, it is 226 kg (500 lbs) with two passengers and 362 kg (800 lbs) with four. The tour has a maximum of 25 travelers.

Bring mosquito repellent, comfortable clothes, closed shoes, swimwear and towels, plus extra money for souvenirs, photos, tequila and food. The operator does not recommend bringing photographic cameras for security reasons. The tour is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, for pregnant travelers or for those with poor cardiovascular health, and a moderate level of fitness is expected.
