Puerto Vallarta Mountain ATV Single Rider Rental

This is an ATV rental for a single rider in the Sierra Madre mountains behind Puerto Vallarta. The operator pitches it as a way to see the real Mexico: you drive off road up into the hills, reach a natural swimming pool to refresh, take pictures and enjoy the natural surroundings. The outing lasts about 180 minutes.

The listing gives little detail about the route, so the outline is simple. You ride uphill along off-road tracks in the mountains, stop at the natural pool to cool off and take photos, and then head back. Because the operator does not describe the trail, stops or how the group is run, ask about them when you book.

One detail in the listing needs clarifying. The only inclusion listed is bicycle use, which does not match an ATV rental. Confirm with the operator exactly what equipment is provided, such as helmets or safety gear, before you go.

The activity is described as suitable for all physical fitness levels. However, the operator does not recommend it for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or who are pregnant, since off-road driving can be demanding.

As for the meeting point, the operator says their Dirty Monkey staff will be waiting for you, without giving an address, so confirm it when you book. Transportation to and from the meeting points is not included. Public transportation options are available nearby.
