Puerto Vallarta: Private Whale Watching Aboard Luxury Yacht

This whale watching outing in Puerto Vallarta is done on a private luxury yacht, so the group is your own. The operator focuses on comfort: the boat has three areas of shaded seating, two clean restrooms, an air-conditioned salon and high-speed WiFi, and the idea is to watch whales from a comfortable base rather than a crowded deck.

The listing does not describe a route or a schedule of stops, so the details of the outing are best confirmed when you book. What it does state is that the activity lasts about 240 minutes and that one feature sets it apart: an underwater microphone that lets you listen to the sounds of the whales.

The package is generous. Private transportation, on-board WiFi, snacks, alcoholic beverages, in-vehicle air conditioning, on-board restrooms and all fees and taxes are included. Because no exclusions are listed, it is a good idea to ask what is not covered before the day, for example anything related to pickup arrangements, which are not detailed.

The tour is suitable for all fitness levels, and public transportation options are available nearby. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted on board, so this is a trip for families with older children and for adults. No meeting point is given in the listing, so ask for the exact place and time when you reserve.
