Show Evening Rhythms, Dinner Buffet, Boat Trip - Classic

ALMA by Rhythms of the Night is an evening show staged on a private beach, reached by boat from Puerto Vallarta. The evening starts with a sunset cruise across Banderas Bay, listed at about 60 minutes, with an open bar on board on the way to Las Caletas. You arrive at dusk to a coast lit by candles and torches, with the scent of copal and the sound of drums. The show takes place in an outdoor amphitheatre among the jungle, and the story follows the custodian of a secret temple whose task is to protect its sacred object. The buffet dinner and the performance together take about 180 minutes.

The dinner is a gourmet buffet with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, and there is an outdoor bar. The operator says the menu is adapted to different diets, including allergies and dietary preferences, so mention yours when you book. After the show you have time to relax before the last 60 minutes, a short cruise back to Puerto Vallarta with a drink and dancing under the stars.

There are some conditions to know. The minimum age is 6, and children under that age will not be allowed on board. Alcohol is served only to guests over 18; younger guests get non-alcoholic drinks. Arrive at your chosen meeting point 45 minutes before departure for check-in. There is no transportation back to the hotel.

Plan for fees not included in the ticket: a 2 USD dock fee and a 20 USD entrance fee to the private beach of Las Caletas, plus tips, photographs and souvenirs. The show goes ahead in the rain, and raincoats or umbrellas are provided if needed. Wear comfortable shoes, not heels or platforms, bring bug repellent in summer and a sweater or light coat in winter.
