Ultimate Taco Tour in Puerto Vallarta with Vallarta Food Tours

The Versalles Ultimate Taco Tour, run by Vallarta Food Tours, is a walking food tour of about 3 hours through the Versalles neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta. The operator presents it as a mix of authentic food, local expertise and cultural immersion.

Your guides are described as passionate about Puerto Vallarta's food scene, and they lead you to the best taco spots in the neighborhood. You taste a variety of tacos, from tender carne asada to seafood, each prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The listing counts 6 tastings.

The group is kept small, which the operator says allows for a personal, intimate experience with plenty of interaction with your guide and fellow travelers. At each stop the guide adds stories and insights about the cultural heritage of Mexican cuisine, so the outing is about the food and also about the neighborhood behind it.

It suits travelers who like to eat and hear the story behind what they eat. The tour is suitable for all physical fitness levels, though it is not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Dietary restrictions such as gluten-free and pescatarian can be accommodated, but vegans and vegetarians cannot.

Six tastings are included; gratuities are not. Public transportation options are available nearby. The source does not give a meeting point, so confirm it with the operator when you book.
