Wild Dolphin Encounter & Snorkeling Adventure

Ecotours Vallarta offers a chance to see wild dolphins in their natural habitat, guided by an expert marine biologist. The outing is listed at about 240 minutes and combines dolphin watching with snorkeling at Los Arcos Marine Park. The operator presents it as an insight into the lives of one of the ocean's most intelligent and endearing creatures.

The boat is small, and the group is limited to 10 people for personalized attention. Your day starts at the operator's office in Marina Vallarta, where you meet your guide. There is an informative talk about dolphin biology and ecology, which lasts about 30 minutes according to the itinerary, and the snorkeling equipment is handed out.

After the talk, you head out to observe the dolphins in their natural environment while enjoying views of the bay. The listing does not promise a particular sighting, so treat the dolphins as part of a wild encounter rather than a guaranteed show.

The adventure continues with a snorkeling excursion at Los Arcos Marine Park, where you can explore underwater ecosystems full of colorful fish. About 60 minutes is allotted to snorkeling at one of the natural sceneries, and the guide is a biologist or professional naturalist.

Included are the educational session, bottled water, the professional guide, a box lunch with a sandwich and granola bar, snorkeling equipment and soft drinks. Gratuities, hotel pickup and drop-off and admission fees are not included. A vegetarian option is available; let the operator know at the time of booking.

The tour is suitable for all physical fitness levels, but children under 6 are not allowed and it is not recommended for pregnant travelers. Public transportation options are available nearby.
