EcoHike to private beach, Jungle Walk to see plants & animals

This is a guided ecohike through the jungle to a private beach, meant as a fun and educational way to get closer to nature. It lasts about 180 minutes and is set among hills with wide views.

The walk runs inside the jungle, and what you see depends on the season. Possible sightings include birds, sea turtles and their babies, whales, butterflies, reptiles and mammals, among other animals. Along the way the guide helps you notice the plants and animals of the area.

The hike ends at a quiet beach, a place to enjoy the fresh air away from busier spots. Binoculars are among the equipment provided, which helps if you are watching birds or looking out to sea.

The organizers describe it as suitable for the whole family, bird lovers, solo travelers and retreat groups, and anyone who wants to meet new people. All ages and experience levels are welcome, as long as you are motivated and excited to walk in the jungle among the hills. Even so, you should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness, and it is not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health.

The included equipment is a child-carrier hiking backpack (request it in advance), hiking poles, a first aid kit and binoculars. Specialized infant seats are available, service animals are allowed and public transportation options are available nearby.
