Scuba Diving Yelapa

This is a day of scuba diving in the Bay of Banderas, built around the village of Yelapa. The plan combines golden beaches, swaying palm trees, clear water and a relaxed atmosphere on land with two tank dives in the bay. The listed duration is 300 minutes.

The two dives take place in two different spots. The first is at Los Arcos, described as the deepest point in the bay, and the second is at Majahuitas. You reach the sites by boat, with a professional guide, and the operator supplies the dive equipment and two tanks.

Between and after the dives you have time in Yelapa, where the setting is the draw: beaches, palms and a friendly, unhurried feel. Snacks and beverages are included, and bottled water as well.

This is a certified-diver outing. Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers who want to take part, and travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers, for travelers with spinal injuries or for those with poor cardiovascular health. Infants are required to sit on an adult's lap.

Practical notes: your shoe size must be given when you book, since all passenger shoe sizes must be advised in advance. Lunch is not included, nor are souvenir photos, which are available to purchase, or gratuities. Public transportation options are available nearby.
