Paddle Board at Dawn in Yucatan

This paddleboarding tour has you out on the water at dawn, gliding across the calm waters near Progreso as the sun comes up.

You'll spend about two hours on the mangroves of Progreso, moving through the water by paddleboard while taking in the scenery, local flora and fauna as the sky lightens.

Afterward, you'll head to a beach club in Yucalpeten, where you can relax for a few hours with access to a restaurant, pool, palapas, bathrooms and showers by the sea.

Traveler assistance insurance, a paddleboard-guided tour, snacks, a locker and air-conditioned transportation are included. Breakfast, tips and other personal expenses are not.

The activity calls for at least a moderate level of physical fitness and is not recommended for pregnant travelers or people with reduced mobility. Counting the beach club time, the full outing runs several hours.

Arrive at the pickup point about 10 minutes before departure, and bring water shoes, a towel, a swimsuit, a cap, sunscreen and insect repellent — ideally products that are environmentally friendly.
