Private Tour Cenotes of Mucuyche & Santa Barbara in one day

This private full-day tour pairs two cenote areas near Mérida: the Santa Bárbara cenotes near Homún and the Hacienda Mucuyché, a former henequen estate. The day starts early, at dawn according to the description, to avoid the crowds. The drive from Mérida to Homún takes about an hour. At Santa Bárbara you swim in four cenotes, Cascabel, Chaksikin, Xooch and Pool Coco, at your own pace, with time to explore, relax and swim. The cenote tour lasts about two hours, followed by one hour for lunch.

Then you continue to Hacienda Mucuyché, about an hour's drive from Santa Bárbara. A local host welcomes you for a guided visit through the historic estate, where restored stone walls and arches keep its history visible, and shares the estate's legacy. After that you swim in its two cenotes, Carlota and Azul, connected by a natural channel, where you can drift through water and vegetation. This part lasts about two hours, and the drive back to Mérida takes roughly one hour.
