Private Tour: Homun Cenotes Day Trip

This private day trip takes you from Mérida to the cenotes (natural sinkholes) around Homún, a village that sits in one of the main cenote areas of Yucatán. The cenotes there come in several types, all with clear waters in a variety of colors. The tour lasts about 420 minutes and is private, so the pace is set around your group.

Transport is round trip with air conditioning, a professional driver, a certified guide and parking, and you are picked up directly at your hotel in Mérida. Once in the area, the itinerary allots about 300 minutes to the cenotes and the village.

The cenotes you can visit include Santa Rosa, Santa Maria, Yaxbakaltún, and Tza Ujun Ka and Balmil, depending on the day. Three cenotes are covered by the entrance tickets included in the price. You get to and between the cenotes by bicycle or truck ride, and a lifejacket is provided for swimming.
