Sisal & Mangroves Kayak Tour from Merida

This tour from Mérida combines a kayak trip through the mangroves of Sisal with free time in the town and on its beaches. In the mangroves you can watch birds, fish and crabs, among other species.

The day begins at the meeting point, and the operator asks you to arrive on time so you do not lose the tour. After meeting, there is a short stop at a shop before leaving Mérida, where you can buy water and snacks for the road. The drive to Sisal takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

The kayak section lasts about 150 minutes. You paddle through the mangroves, look at the birds and the local flora and fauna, and hear about the history of the place.
