The Ultimate Merida Salsa Night: Lesson + 2 Local Bars

This is a salsa class combined with a night out in Mérida. The experience lasts about 150 minutes and starts with a lesson, then moves to two local bars where you can put what you learned into practice on a real dance floor.

The lesson is described as relaxed and beginner-friendly, focused on practical moves. It is led by an experienced instructor with over 14 years in social salsa, whose knowledge of Latin rhythms sets the tone: fun, welcoming and authentic.

After the class you head to local salsa venues where, according to the operator, locals actually dance. The idea is to use the steps right away in a real setting rather than staying in a classroom, so you can feel part of the city's dance scene from the first song.

It suits travelers who want culture, nightlife and social contact in one evening, including people who have never danced salsa. It is listed as suitable for all physical fitness levels, and service animals are allowed. Infants are required to sit on an adult's lap.

The activity is not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health, given that you will be dancing for a good part of the night.

The listing shows alcoholic beverages and bottled water as included and meals as not included, so plan dinner beforehand or afterwards. The operator does not state the details or number of drinks, and does not give a meeting point, so confirm both when you book.
