About
We are a deconcentrated body of the State Executive's Ministry of Administration and Finance, with the status of tax authority, technical and management autonomy in the development and exercise of our powers, and budgetary autonomy to meet our objectives. The Agency's purpose is the collection, control, auditing and enforced recovery of revenue from taxes, duties, betterment levies, products, surcharges and other contributions—state and municipal as well as coordinated federal ones—along with taxpayer assistance services, tax information, and the legal defense of the interests of the state treasury.
