Come play and connect with Acro Yoga

Acro Yoga combines yoga, acrobatics and human connection, and this class is an introduction to it. The session lasts 75 minutes and is aimed at people who have never tried it: you do not need previous experience, and you do not need to bring a partner.

The instructors guide you step by step through engaging dynamics and progressive exercises, so you learn the fundamentals of acro yoga gradually. The setting is described as safe and judgement-free, which matters when the practice involves trusting another person with your weight and balance.

The format works well for couples looking for a different way to connect, for solo travelers who want to meet new people, and for groups that want an active, playful outing. The emphasis is on releasing tension, flowing with the movement and looking at collaboration in a new way.

The activity is fairly inclusive: all areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible, and the transportation options are as well. Infants are required to sit on an adult's lap, service animals are allowed, and the class is suitable for all physical fitness levels. It is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries or for pregnant travelers.

On the practical side, a yoga mat is included. Bottled water is not, so bring your own. Public transportation options are available nearby.
