About

Taking inspiration from Japan's street food capital, Osaka, the psychedelic pop art of Yayoi Kusama and the charming TV culture of the land of the rising sun, we created a vibrant little vintage Japanese food corner with a modern concept that's chaotic, eclectic and hypnotic, serving yōshoku (Westernized Japanese food). Kōfuku is a small grab & go restaurant in Mérida serving delicious Japanese burgers, sushi, hirata buns, Izakaya snacks and many other Japanese-Latin American fusion dishes, such as the original and famous sushitaco. Kōfuku embodies the inspiration of the final stretch of Japan's creative age, the Shōwa era, with the purpose of breaking the mold while bringing a little happiness in every bite.
