About
La Posheria has been a pioneer in the production, promotion and sale of Pox in Mexico since 2010. Pox is a corn-based spirit, very important in Maya culture, used ceremonially but also as a symbol of brotherhood among the indigenous communities of the highlands of Chiapas. The varieties of Pox we offer are: (white) traditional Pox, ceremonial Pox and ancestral Pox, (fruit) peach, quince, nance and blackberry, (medicinal) hoja santa, spearmint, oregano, rosemary, ginger and lemongrass, plus seasonal ones: coffee, coconut, cacao, almond, vanilla, banana, hibiscus and cinnamon. Come and taste this very special drink in an atmosphere surrounded by candles and copal. We look forward to seeing you!!
